Senior Civil & Structural Engineer
Main Responsibilities
Produce comprehensive civil and stuctural design packages for all aspects of civil and stuctural design.
Lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages across multiple projects, as part of a single or multi discipline design team, carry out any or all stages of civil and structural design from concept to completion across several sectors especially Aviation.
Candidate would be required to travel to other project sites around London including Stansted and Gatwick . The candidate would also be locally positioned to undertake some Heathrow site visits and attend some project meetings on site, where more efficient than attendance from main project office staff and to increase opportunities to win work. They will also be required to travel to our Stratford-upon-Avon office on a regular basis.
Skills and Experience
Ability to work independently; attend client meetings; undertake site inspections; plan work.
Aviation design experience and knowledge of approvals process and aviation standards etc.
CEng MICE or MIStructE Chartered Engineer, degree qualified in Civil structural engineering.
Carry out technical design reviews/critiques of projects.
Assist in the mentoring and development of more junior engineers including training and planning
Fully Conversant with current codes, standards and responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations.
Proven ability to work within a fully integrated, multi-discipline design team.
