Job description 

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Site Supervisor (Electrical) to join our team. Our company is a leading provider of engineering and construction services, and we are looking for someone who can help us continue to grow and meet the needs of our clients.   

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Supervise and manage electrical installation works and construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets  
  • Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements and assist in the production of Work Packs and take part in Stakeholder meetings   
  • Lead and manage a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations  
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project activities  
  • Oversee the procurement, delivery, and inventory management of electrical materials and equipment  
  • Provide daily diaries and regular progress reports and updates to project management team and stakeholders  
  • Ensure compliance with BS7671 and Site electrical codes and standards. 

Requirements 

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role  
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation works, including cable laying, termination, testing and commissioning, and earthing and lightning protection systems  
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills  
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail  
  • Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments  
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards
