We are recruiting for an Apprentice Multi Trade/Maintenance Operative to work on refurbishment sites to undertake multi-trade finishing works to occupied propeties within the Midlands region. You will be required to work on any contract within the region.
The role will require an Apprentice trades person that is multi-skilled to ensure they can undertake a range of "finishing" trades within occupied houses. Specific ability to complete carpentry, plastering and painting works to a high standard. The successful application will be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude towards achieving a successful outcome in the following areas :-
- Work in occupied social housing environment
- Other skills should include one or more of patchwork plastering, plasterboard and skim; carpentry; kitchen fitting; basic plumbing, wall tiling, floor latexing; painting, etc
- Train to NVQ level in at least one trade e.g. carpentry, plastering, plumbing, etc., is preferred but proof od experience over many years with relevant references would be considered.
- Liaise with site management to complete essential multi-trade tasks
- Liaise with residents in occupied homes

- Obtain valid CSCS card
