We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious assistant site manager to join our growing construction team in Lambeth on the Town Hall regeneration project.
As an assistant site manager, you will assist the site manager and project manager. You will ensure that the construction of the development proceeds efficiently in accordance with the programme and within the budgeted costs. You will assist in managing the subcontractor labour and coordinate the activities of all the trades and disciplines involved on site.
Already experienced as an assistant site manager or trainee site manager looking for progression, you will have a minimum HNC/HND in Construction (or equivalent), and you will hold a valid Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate. You will have some knowledge of construction practices and standards within their subject , and you will be able to assist with ensuring that the construction of the development proceeds efficiently. You will have a passion for grade 2 listed buildings and will preferably have some experience of refurbishing grade 2 listed buildings.
