Seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist the design and construction team in the implementation and build of a major central London rail project.
The successful candidate is needed to undertake duties including but not limited to:
- Review of supply chain drawings against the assured design
- Respond to and management of formal queries (RFIs)
- Day to day liaison with the site team producing sketches and notes to supplement design documents
- Attendance of various management, programme and supply chain meetings
- Support to and in conjunction with the wider design team
- Review of emerging construction with a view to compliance and quality
A working knowledge of the following is preferred but not essential:
- Microstation 3D Architecture and Navisworks
- Technical detailing of building components within a BIM environment
The successful candidate will ideally have appropriate and current site experience in support of the above.
Will consider Perm or Contract
Experience in BIM software specifically Revit Architecture and Navisworks would be an advantage.
AutoCAD Architecture proficient with excellent technical detailing and specification experience/ability through both scheme and detailed design project phases.
A strong understanding of multi-disciplinary design and integration of other disciplines models into the architectural model.
To deliver design and technical solutions to best ability.
On site experience would be an advantage
CIAT preferred
An understanding of construction techniques and construction knowledge is essential.
Proficient in the following:
Revit, AutoCAD Architecture and Navisworks
NBS/NBS Create Specification Writer
3D Studio max (inc Vray) preferred but not essential
Technical detailing of building components within a BIM environment
Preferably knowledge of the following: MIcrostation, Sketch-up
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD Architecture and Navisworks
Ability to solve design issues / provide technical design solutions
Manage and lead the production of deliverables and design on a project
Ability to work well either alone or within a team environment.
Drive and enthusiasm to produce accurate, well presented technical details
Good communication and presentation skills
Good time and cost management skills - plan and achieve delivery to the desired quality to exceed expectations
