Responsibilities:

As a site engineer you will be:

  • Responsible for day to day surveying and setting out duties. 
  • Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification. 
  • Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance.

As an experienced site engineer, you will have relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng), a relevant CSCS card and ideally first aid certification.  You will also have experience of working on a construction site and will be able to evidence experience of setting out and levelling.  You will have experience working on civil engineering projects valuing between £10 and £60 million.

Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.

 

Primary Build Capability (PBC)

Morgan Sindall is working with BAE Systems on their £300 million eight-year redevelopment programme, which will transform the submarine building capabilities of the BAE site in Barrow-in-Furness.

 

BAE Systems engineer, manufacture and support the innovations that strengthen security at home and around the world. In Barrow, BAE systems work on the cutting-edge design, build, test and commissioning of complex submarines and for over a century have equipped the Royal Navy with unrivalled underwater capability.
