We currently have a vacancy for a Regional Procurement Manager, although reporting directly into the Central Procurement Manager based at Tamworth they will have direct responsibility to the Midlands business units.

 

As part of the Central Purchasing team the role will involve the procurement and management of people, materials, subcontract specification and plant. This involvement is at both Delivery and tender stages for both new build and refurbishment projects. Although predominantly based at Tamworth you will be expected to spend time at the Regional Business unit. As the face of Procurement in the region you are expected to liaise with internal and external customers to achieve best value and ensure deadlines are met and exceeded.

 

You will actively promote any group initiatives in relation to both procurement and environment to both internal and external customers.

 

We are looking for a committed and driven individual with good written and verbal communication skills who is able to contribute to various team meetings and value engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate commitment to quality standards and a customer focus.
