Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hard working team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

As a project manager, you will

  • Successfully manage allocated multidisciplinary projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion,
  • Delivering work that meets project requirements,
  • Customer satisfaction in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards.

Already experienced as a project manager, you will have worked on leisure facility projects and ideally experience of working on 2 part tender and NEC contract frameworks.  You will be educated to degree or HNC/HND level in a relevant technical discipline.  You will have proven experience of working with and managing contractors within a traditional construction project and you will have a good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance. 

 

About the Slough Team :

The Slough office is a newly formed division created to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council, by creating a new Thames Valley, Surrey, and West London business unit. The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to almost 50 people, and is focused on early stage project management to create efficient solutions for customers. see http://www.slough-thinkingforward.co.uk/ for more information.
