Morgan Sindall Property Services is the newly created service division of the £2 billion Morgan Sindall Group. We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer (Multi-skilled), to join the North Tyneside Region. Reporting to the Gas Supervisor and Facilities Manager, the role will require you to carry out day to day fault finding & repairs, also servicing for one of our prestigious PFI clients.

You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fix, carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service and integrate with an existing multi skilled maintenance team.

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA all training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

Hours of work are 40hrs per week 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday, plus a requirement to cover Out of Hours call outs on a rota basis.

 

You should be a customer focused individual, highly motivated, a team player and have a passion for completing your work as efficiently as possible to a high standard. Candidates need to be from a maintenance and repairs background, ideally within the FM arena. There are considerable development opportunities for the right individual so you must be open to continuous development.

As a minimum you should have

ACS Gas Qualification’s elements CCN1, CEN-WAT1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1, COCN1, CoDNCO1, TPCP1, CIGA1, CORT1

NVQ Level II plumbing

 Full UK Drivers Licence

Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous

PASMA                                               IPAF                           UKATA Asbestos Awareness

Manual Handling                     Working at Height

Mobile Air Conditioning (7543)
