We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious buyer to join our expanding central procurement team in Rugby.
You will procure materials, goods and services for projects across the UK. You will reporting to the central procurement manager and be part of a team of buyers working on a range of procurement including setting up projects with call off orders, transactional procurement with trading partners, supporting procurement managers on projects and building relationships with key suppliers. You will be expected to procure to the commercial advantage of the company and with effective communication skill, achieving the budget, programme and the quality required.
As an experienced buyer looking for development, you will be working towards membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) (or equivalent qualification, knowledge, skills and training). You will also have proven capability purchasing materials within a procurement function, within construction or traditional civil engineering sectors. Experience of COINS is beneficial but not essential as training and support will be provided.
