We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious project engineer – mechanical to join our growing team in Albion Square, Whitehaven .
As a project engineer - mechanical you will provide support and input to the mechanical engineering solutions to energy sector projects through pre-contract, construction and aftercare phases.
You will be responsible for reviewing, challenging and developing mechanical concept designs for build ability and cost effectiveness. You will also lead and support the preparation of enquiries for plant, materials and services and recommend the most economically advantageous solution for inclusion in the project scope.
As a project engineer – mechanical you will hold a BTEC HNC in mechanical engineering, or equivalent. You will have experience in design of heat and power energy generation systems. You will also be able to evidence experience in materials, subcontract letting and subcontract management.
