Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled)
Salary: £ 25,000 - £ 35,000 Dependant on experience
Based: North Tyneside, Tyne & Wear, Newcastle upon Tyne

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.
About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our North & Scotland Region working in a prestigious North East PFI contract.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the role will require you to carry out day to day reactive repairs, electrical inspection and testing, fault finding and electrical installations. You will be expected to demonstrate experience in plumbing and joinery however as we deliver an extensive suite of building services the job role is constantly evolving.
You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fix carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service.
The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA. All training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.
Hours of work are 40hrs per week 08:00 until 16:30 Monday to Friday with a requirement to cover out of hours call-outs on a rota basis.
About You
You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.
As a minimum you should have:
- 17th Edition
- NVQ Level 3
- 2391 or 2394/95
- JIB card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Working at Height
Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous:
