We are currently seeking to appoint proactive and highly motivated Assistant Site Manager for a major New Build development in Woolwich in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The successful applicant will report to a Site Manager/Senior Site Manager or Project Manager/Build Manager and have already gained experience in all areas of site production and programme, as well as material delivery and cost control. Quality and health & safety standards are paramount and responsibilities include adherence to business management systems, NHBC standards and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The role requires development of positive relationships with both internal and external customers and Clients, with strong focus on service delivery and client satisfaction against project KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine commitment to our construction sector and a desire to gain further experience in managing budgets and ability to work to clear deadlines. It is envisaged that a sound knowledge of building regulations, NHBC standards and Health and Safety legislation will further be enhanced. Experience of building to Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 and above and of mixed tenure scheme is essential.

We are looking for an assertive and confident individual who is proactive, flexible and able to take ownership for their work, combine with the ability to develop strong management and communication skills. Being able to deputise for the Site Manager/Senior Site Manager from time to time is a prerequisite.
