We are currently seeking to appoint a pro-active and highly motivated Health Safety and Environmental Advisor to carry out site safety inspections and to support our site based operation team within the South Wales and South West region.
The successful applicant will report to the Regional Health Safety and Environmental Manager and will be responsible for carrying out regular inspections on new build and planned maintenance projects.
The role requires the development of positive relationships with site teams and external contacts, including, on occasion, enforcement bodies. The role will also require the successful applicant to deputise for the Regional Health Safety and Environmental Manager and to assist in the production of monthly regional reports.
Whilst the role will be based from our Cardiff office, the successful applicant will be mainly site based, covering South Wales and the South West of England.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role. A sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation is essential.
