Role: Plasterer (Multi-Skilled Engineer)

Salary: £ 21,000 - £ 23,500

Based: Stranraer & Surrounding areas

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plasterer who is Multi-Skilled to join our North & Scotland Region working initially on our DGHP contract, however this may also involve supporting our other contracts. Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out day to day reactive repairs, including Planned Works and Void Works.

You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fixes carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA, all training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

Hours of work are 39hrs per week Monday to Friday with the potential to join our OOH rota for overtime.

 

About You

You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.

 

As a minimum you should have:

  • Time served trade as a Plasterer
  • NVQ Qualifications or equivalent
  • Be able to evidence competency in both being a Plasterer & also other trades i.e. Joinery, Carpentry

Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous;

  • PASMA  
  • IPAF
