Role: Assistant Project Manager (Voids)

Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 32,000 dependant on experience

Based: Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Project Manager with specific responsibility for our Voids Contract within the Southend on Sea and surrounding area.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will require the successful candidate to provide direction and leadership to the operational delivery teams across a number of contracts and projects. Taking responsibility for the delivery of excellent operational performance. Managing both directly employed and subcontracted resources, ensuring they are managed and motivated to deliver cost effective, high quality customer focussed outputs.

 

About You

Candidates must have proven experience in the responsive repairs and maintenance industry within the social housing sector; managing the development and performance of all aspects contract operations. Candidates will also have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships and managing multi-site workforces.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all members of the Regional and Senior Management Teams. You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails throughout the Region’s activities.

You may have experience of the following: HS&E, Commercial Awareness Management, Project Strategy, Commercial Issues, Construction, Building Management Systems, Procurement, Risk Management, Sub-Contract co-ordination.
