Lovell Partnerships are looking for a Business and Administration Modern Apprentice to work in their Glasgow office. The successful candidate must have a keen interest in working in an office administration setting.
The Role
- Photocopying large documents including tenders, monthly regional reports and collating and uni-binding where required
- Undertaking any general typing and administration for various departments
- Franking outgoing post
- Opening and recording incoming post
- Covering reception taking telephone calls and messages
- Greet visitors
- Updating contact lists
- Scheduling meeting rooms
- Catering requirements for senior management
- Assist Office Manager with invoice queries and general administration
Training
You will be rewarded with your SVQ level 3 or SVQ Level 2 in business and administration. You will also develop your personal qualities such as; • Communication skills, both oral and written • Organisational skills • Interpersonal and customer service skills • An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries • An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities • Team-working skills
Qualifications/qualities required
An understanding of computers and the use of office equipment. Good communication skills and a clear spoken voice are all essential. A friendly and confident person will be required for this vacancy as working using your initiative will be required at times.
