Vacancy: Gas Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - £ 32,000 per annum dependant on experience

Based: Cambridge (King Street)

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our North Region working in the Cambridgeshire area. Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out day to day reactive repairs, landlord gas safety records, fault finding and gas installations. 

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA. All training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

Hours of work are 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with a requirement to cover out of hours call-outs on a rota basis.

 

About You

You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.

You should be a fully qualified gas engineer with at least 3 years experience in a Gas Engineer role & as a minimum should have:

CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, and CPA1

Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous:

Unvented Domestic Hot Water, PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness or any further qualifications to support the role.

You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence as a company vehicle will be provided (for work use only).
