Vacancy: Team Leader (Electrical Qualified Supervisor)

Salary: £34,000 to £39,000 dependant on experience, plus generous benefits

Based: Hackney, London

Morgan Sindall Property Services is the service division of the £2 billion Morgan Sindall Group. We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to build our presence on this newly acquired electrical contract in Hackney. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will require you to be the first line day to day project/ work stream implementation lead on all planned & reactive maintenance programmes in a timely and safe manner in accordance with Company policy and procedures.

The successful candidate will influence profitability and basic budget management, S,H&E management, contract compliance and help maintain excellent customer relationships.

About You

Naturally, you will be technically competent and qualified. Recognised and respected by your peers, you will have sustained high levels of productivity and performance. You will have relevant electrical qualifications and experience. Your contribution will sustain our reputation for innovative and excellent customer service, giving us a unique selling point in our sector.

Candidates must have proven experience in social housing, void & planned works and responsive repairs, and have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships and have had team leader / supervisory experience.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with your team. You will ensure best practice prevails throughout the contract's activities.

You'll be a custoimer focussed individual with the, as a minimum, following qualifications / certificates;

An Electrical Apprenticeship / relevant electrical qualifications to a minimum of City & Guilds 2391, Asbestos awareness, Manual handling and Working at height.

The following qualifications would also be desirable;

IOSH or SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
