Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Kitchen Fitter)

Salary: £ 28,000 per annum

Based: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Type: 12 month fixed term contract, full time.

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team, based in Oxfordshire on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out kitchen installations, carpentry, minor plumbing, plastering and tiling. Properties can vary from occupied houses to sheltered accommodation rooms and voids.

You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fixes carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA, all training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

 

About You

You should be a reliable, customer focused individual whom has a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit. You’ll be experienced in working in Social Housing with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit. You will be an experienced and competent kitchen fitter who has multi-skilled knowledge. 

As a minimum you should have:

  • Time served as a Kitchen Fitter
  • Joinery / Carpentry NVQ or equivalent
  • Your own tools

 

Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • CSCS Card
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
