Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.
We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.
Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.
We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hard working team environment.
Responsibilities:
As a project manager, you will
- Successfully manage allocated multidisciplinary projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion,
- Delivering work that meets project requirements,
- Customer satisfaction in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards.
Already experienced as a project manager, you will have worked on leisure facility projects and ideally experience of working on 2 part tender and NEC contract frameworks. You will be educated to degree or HNC/HND level in a relevant technical discipline. You will have proven experience of working with and managing contractors within a traditional construction project and you will have a good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance.
About the Scotland North Team :
The Scotland North Team are currently working on projects across Aberdeen / North East and Inverness geographic area. These projects include the very impressive Marischal Square development in Aberdeen and the new replacement Stoneywood School in Aberdeen. We are also delighted to be part of the Aberdeenshire framework, which will be continuing to provide excellent opportunities for our business for another three to four years. Our short to medium business plan going forward is to consolidate our business further in the North East, Tayside and Fife regions of Scotland by also securing projects in Dundee, Perth and Fife. We are looking for likeminded people who share our passion about delivering high quality buildings and delighting customers but at the same time remembering……..to enjoy the experience!
