Job title: Plumber (Multi-Skilled Engineer)

Salary: £27,000 per annum, plus generous benefits

Morgan Sindall Property Services is the service division of the £2 billion Morgan Sindall Group. We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

About the role

We are actively growing our organisation and are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Plumber with additional skills to deliver a first class repairs service across a variety of our properties in Surrey, West Sussex and Kent. Naturally, you will be a technically competent and qualified ‘service engineer’ with a multi-trade background and experience in social housing. Your contribution will sustain our reputation for innovative and excellent customer service, giving us a unique selling point in our sector. 

You will need to use your specialist knowledge and customer service experience to assist us in making a real difference to the lives of our customers. You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fix carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA all training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

About You

You will be a fully skilled tradesperson with a core trade background in plumbing, be proficient in secondary trades and carry out repairs to the highest standards. You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.

As a minimum you should have an excellent working H&S knowledge and in date training certs in: Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling.

An in date CSCS card, PASMA / TETRA would be desirable but not essential. You must hold a valid UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only). 

You must have a full UK licence and own tools which are 110v or battery only to be considered for this role.
