Role: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 38,000 plus generous benefits

Based: Cardiff & Swansea, South Wales

We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

The purpose of the role is to manage the day to day financial control, reporting and commercial performance of social housing reactive repairs and maintenance projects in South Wales.

You will be responsible for the effective commercial control of all allocated projects including provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the reporting timetable. In particular CVR’s, forecasts, cash flow and elemental reconciliation. 

You will also take the lead on management and assessment of sub-contractors.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years' experience, particularly within the property services or similar related industry.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all members of the project team.  You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with the client, employer’s representative and supply chain.

You may have experience of the following: Commercial lead, Cost planning, Commercial management, Schedule of rates, Contract administration, Property Services, Social Housing, Construction, Procurement, Risk Management.
