Role: Project Manager (Planned Works)

Salary: £38,000 - £42,500 per annum depending on experience

Based: Basildon, Essex

We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with specific responsibility for a contract within the Basildon, Essex area.  Reporting to the Operations Manager the role will require the successful candidate to provide direction and leadership to the operational team. Taking responsibility for the delivery of excellent operational performance and managing both directly employed and subcontracted resources, ensuring they are managed and motivated to deliver cost effective, high quality customer focussed outputs.

Package

  • A highly competitive salary of £ 38,000 - £ 42,500
  • Company car, grade 4 or car allowance of £ 6,300
  • 26 days annual holiday plus UK bank holidays
  • 40 hour working week, Mon-Fri

About You

Candidates must have proven experience in the planned maintenance industry within the social housing sector; managing the development and performance of all aspects contract operations.  Candidates will also have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships and managing multi-site workforces.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all members of the Regional and Senior Management Teams.  You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails throughout the Region’s activities.

You may have experience of the following: HS&E, Commercial Awareness Management, Project Strategy, Commercial Issues, Construction, Building Management Systems, Procurement, Risk Management, Sub-Contract co-ordination.
