Role: Domestic Gas Engineer

Salary: £ 27,000 - £ 30,000 depending on experience

Based: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team working on a PFI project in Leeds, however, may also work across other contracts. Reporting to the Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out day to day repairs, fault finding and annual servicing to domestic gas appliances as well as day to day multi-trade repairs mainly plumbing.

You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fix carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform & tablet and training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

Hours of work are 40hrs per week 8:00am until 17:00pm Monday to Friday with flexible working plus a requirement to cover Out of Hours call outs on a rota basis.

 

About You

You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.

As a minimum you should have the following competencies:

CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, Unvented Hot Water

Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous

Part P, TETRA, Asbestos Awareness, Working At Height and Manual Handling.
