The Midlands region require a Supply Chain Manager to actively manage the cost and performance data from our subcontract supply chain across the whole of the region, making a difference to the delivery of work and the financial performance of the business.
The role reports directly to the Regional Commercial Director and requires active management of the supply chain and its performance to support the geographic growth of the region and ensure best practice in both estimating and subcontract procurement.
The position although based in our Birmingham office will require travelling between area offices in the region.
Ideally you will have had previous experience in a similar role within the housing arena, in particular this should cover both the new build and refurbishment works. You should be a good communicator, able to manage a process and people who are not direct line reports.
