Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for a Manager who has knowledge of working within construction and infrastructure.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hard-working team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

As a business development manager you will

  • Lead the implementation of Morgan Sindall’s business development strategy
  • Entailing developing and maintaining a network of contacts with specialist consultants and suppliers to position Morgan Sindall to bid and secure projects and frameworks as required on a national basis. 

Already experienced as a business development manager you will be educated to degree level in relevant subject and will ideally have a membership of a professional industry body.  You will be able to demonstrate attendance at key forums and an understanding of the latest thinking in key sectors and you will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of winning and delivering work in construction.

 

About the Slough Team :

The Slough office is a newly formed division created to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council, by creating a new Thames Valley, Surrey, and West London business unit. The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to almost 50 people, and is focused on early stage project management to create efficient solutions for customers. see http://www.slough-thinkingforward.co.uk/ for more information.
