Ideally this would suit someone currently working towards their building degree and looking for their first role or experience during the year out.
We are looking for a hardworking, committed and interested idividual to assist in the management & co-ordination of the design and technical processes through pre-start and the life of a project. Acting as a point of contact between the Development Co-ordinators and other parts of the business, managing the appointment and design input of specialist sub-contractors.
The accountability and responsibilities:
• Obtaining comparative quotes for consultants.
• Facilitate in the flow of information to consultants & Lovell software packages.
• Assistance in the pre-start and post construction approval processes (Planning, Building Regs, NHBC registrations, etc.).
• Register projects with appropriate bodies.
• Co-ordination of Design Team and Specialist subcontractors.
• Management of design process during construction process.
Skills and experience required:
• Studying towards a building related degree
• Some experience in New Build and Design
• Knowledge of building regulations and current standards and legislation
• Organisded and competent with design and engineering information
