Remuneration - £21K-£24K pa plus benefits and depending on experience
Who are we?
Based in Manchester, under the guidance of managing director Peter Knight, the Northern team, comprised of 60 staff, provides commercial refurbishment and fit out, offering both a traditional and design and build approach. The variety of projects that the team wins offers an exciting portfolio and the reputation of the business has gone from strength to strength. Bidding for projects up to the value of £10m, primarily in and around Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow, the team has completed work for BBC, Sky, PwC and Vodafone.
What will you be doing and what skills do you need?
Supporting the Bid Graphics team in the creation and development of a broad suite of materials; from engaging and eye-catching graphics which will help make our bid collateral stand out, to on-site project branding, marketing materials and beyond.
You will be working up conceptual solutions to briefs passed to you directly and will be bringing these to life with your design skills.
You should be able to demonstrate a number of different skills as graphics support, a summary below:
A versatile and adaptable Designer with a comprehensive handle on the Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, additional software would be a bonus
Translating technical content into creative graphics, e.g. infographics, site logistic plans, site hoarding, etc
The ability and confidence to work on multiple projects simultaneously, from concept stage to final delivery
Explore and bring new graphical and presentations ideas to the table
Organised, able to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
Able to communicate with colleagues and our external partners effectively both written and verbally
Excellent attention to detail
