Role: Multi Skilled Engineer (Carpentry bias)

Location: Greater London & South East, office in Camberley

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We are actively growing our organisation and are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Multi Skilled Engineer with a wide range of skills to deliver a first class repairs service across a variety of our properties across a large geographical area.

You will need to use your specialist knowledge and customer service experience to assist us in making a real difference to the lives of our customers. You should help us to achieve a high level of first time fix carrying out quality repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA. All training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

 

About You

You will be a fully skilled tradesperson with a background in carpentry, be proficient in secondary trades such as plumbing, tiling, painting & decorating, floor laying, kitchen fitting and be able to carry out repairs to the highest standards.

You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in both occupied and void properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit. You will ensure that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times.

You must hold a valid UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only). You must be flexible and willing to travel, area is predominately covering Greater London areas (Croydon, Sutton, South West London), Surrey (Redhill) & when required, travel further South (i.e. Tunbridge & Worthing).

As a minimum you should have an excellent working H&S knowledge and in date training certs in: Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling. An in date CSCS card, PASMA / TETRA would be desirable but not essential.
