Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Infrastructure business for an ambitious and talented Quantity Surveyor to join our Yorkshire Water team on site at Whitby / Scarborough.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing commercial team of passionate and dedicated individuals.
We are looking for quantity surveyor who ideally has experience running their own civils contract project at 5million plus.
The successful applicant will need to be able to evidence their capability of dealing with a high volume of sub-contractors.
Previous working knowledge of NEC would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
As a quantity surveyor you will
- Provide commercial expertise to aid with the delivery of the contract.
- The provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets.
- Experience in Water would be an advantage but not essential as would framework experience.
Already experienced / qualified as a quantity surveyor you will be educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline).
