We require an Architect with experience of the Affordable Housing Industry to support our existing in-house design team in our Quinton/Birmingham office.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities:-
- Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate the technical and management aspects on assigned projects
- Review and approve technical design phases of projects
- Create designs and highly detailed drawings and design solutions both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD)
- Liaise with the customer, project end-users and other construction team members around legislation, environmental impact and project budget
- Liaise with planning consultants and other consultants where required
- Submission of outline, detailed and reserved matters planning applications including presenting report, proposals and DAS
- Keep up to date with design techniques, trends and competitor awareness
You must be registered with the ARB. You will have good freehold sketching ability; AutoCAD/ AutoCAD ADT and Revit, 3 D drawing production, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Excel, Outlook and powerpoint skills are essential.
