Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Supply Chain Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hard working team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

As supply chain manager you will be responsible for:

  • maximising value to Morgan Sindall through the structured management and development of the subcontract supply chain.
  • You will lead the implementation of the Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Strategy, and the development of the Business Unit Supply Chain Plan.
  • You will provide high quality support on supply chain engagement, selection, and development and performance management.

 

  • You will have a membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent qualification and you will have an understanding of sub-contract and supplier terms and conditions.
  • You will have experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial role and you will have relevant experience and knowledge of both subcontract and materials procurement practices and processes

About the Slough Team :

The Slough office is a newly formed division created to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council, by creating a new Thames Valley, Surrey, and West London business unit. The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to almost 50 people, and is focused on early stage project management to create efficient solutions for customers. see http://www.slough-thinkingforward.co.uk/ for more information.

About the Cardiff Team :

Morgan Sindall has a growing business in South Wales and the West delivering predominantly education sector projects through a number of strong frameworks. Delivering exceptional schemes from £2m - £35m in South Wales we have built a strong track record and now deliver for a number of key repeat business clients. Our region is supported by our Cardiff office and expanding support team. We anticipate further growth through 2017 and beyond and are looking for exiting talented people to join our team.
