We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our growing regional business to undertake the role of Senior Technical Manager. Reporting to the Regional Technical Director you will be responsible for managing a team of technical professionals, ensuring the effective delivery of mixed tenure residential developments from attainment of planning permission to scheme completion. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients, senior leadership within Lovell and to all levels of the business.
The role will comprise the technical management and timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects through pre start stage to physical start on site and to provide support to the build stage accordingly. In particular the candidate should be familiar with and be able to:
- Lead a team of technical professionals ensuring design programme delivery.
- Co-ordinate and manage the design team and specialist subcontractors.
- Process Manage design interfaces between packages.
- Technically evaluate scheme proposals.
- Appraise new building products and legislation.
- Ensure planning and building control issues are addressed.
