Opportunity:

 

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction & Infrastructure business for an ambitious and talented Asset Protection Coordinator to work within our Major Projects team.

 

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals. Working with our Infrastructure business, knowledge of construction methods is a must.

 

The role will involve identifying assets which are impacted upon by the works and them breaking down by type, site location and work activity interface. Liaising with asset owners regarding the potential affects from construction. Obtaining the necessary asset owner’s consents to work within the vicinity of the asses and agreeing any mitigation / monitoring requirements.

Responsibilities:

 

As an Asset Protection Coordinator you will:

  • Regular weekly meetings to take place in order to identify upcoming interfaces
  • Review of current activities ensuring any prescribed mitigation measures are being adhered to
  • Ensure construction team are made aware of the applicable asset buffer zones, taking these into consideration when planning the works
  • Submit applications for stakeholder approval in accordance with WI 1300 process and in the time frames set out in the associated Asset Protection Agreements (APA) and schedule 16 – Protective Provisions of DCO, to allow the works to continue as programmed.
  • Update Asset Protection Tracker, ensuring all consent applications and other communications with stakeholders are captured.
  • Emails between stakeholders to be uploaded to Business Collaborator
  • Reference to any meeting notes that contain an approval from a stakeholder
  • Update required submission dates in line with the programme
  • Arrange meetings with stakeholders, coordinating required attendees from the BMB and Tideway team and attendance of designers where required
  • Meeting notes to be taken and recorded on Business Collaborator
  • Details of meeting included date, attendees and duration to be recorded and passed to Tideway for the purpose of tracking third party costs
  • Method statements and Risk Assessments
  • Drawings – plans, sections, sequencing
  • Emergency preparedness plans
  • Monitoring plans
  • Pre/Post condition surveys
  • Liaise with survey team regarding settlement monitoring data to be issued to stakeholders

 

The right applicant will have experience of the design management process, and hold a relevant industry qualification.
