Role: Trainee Quantity Surveyor                  

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000

Based: London

 

Requirement also to attend relevant vocational course which will be arranged by the company.

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, electrical and gas installations, servicing, repairs and planned works, such as kitchen & bathroom renewals, roofing replacement, window replacement & cyclical decorations.

 

About The Role

We are looking to recruit 3 trainees to become future Quantity Surveyors.

Our Quantity Surveyors are responsible for the effective commercial management of all allocated projects including provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the Surveying timetable, in particular Monthly Cost/Value Reports, all elemental reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, etc.

As part of your apprenticeship you will learn and undertake the above duties.

All team members are expected to contribute to the delivery of excellent operational performance and championing a ‘perfect delivery’ service.  This will require building relationships with both directly employed and subcontracted resources, ensuring with the goal to deliver cost effective, high quality customer focussed outputs.

 

About You

You must be numerate and analytical, with A Level/Further Education qualifications which would ideally include Maths.

The successful applicant should have a passion for their apprenticeship and be able to work both individually and as part of a team to provide excellent customer service. They need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
