Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our head office for a Talent & Development Business Partner within our Central Services team.

Based out of our Rugby office but with a national remit you’ll be responsible for supporting, implementing and contributing to the ongoing development of our talent and development strategies including orientation and induction, new entrant, management and leadership programmes, supporting the ongoing development of our Academy as well as talent management and succession planning.

Able to build strong relationships with both key internal stakeholders and external providers to meet the future needs of our business you’ll also be responsible for ensuring that our graduates, undergraduates, trainees and apprentices receive relevant, high quality training and are fully supported in the early stages of their careers. 

Responsibilities:

As a Talent & Development Business Partner you undertake the following:

  • Develop and build strong relationships with our business units to ensure our Academy offering continues to meet the requirements of our internal customers
  • Support employees pursuing professional qualifications
  • Provide guidance and support on new entrant attraction activities to meet the future needs of the business
  • Manage all aspects of our new entrant development programmes
  • Manage the ongoing development of the Morgan Sindall Academy

Already experienced in a similar role you’ll also have:

  • A working knowledge of new entrant talent attraction and development with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement of existing programmes as well as good understanding of the further and higher education and academic qualifications required to achieve professional registration.
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders and gain buy-in for new learning solutions
  • The ability to translate strategy into solutions.
  • Experience of operating in a fast paced, commercial and decentralised environment
