Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity within our Nuclear, Energy and Water business for an ambitious, driven individual who has current procurement or buying experience.
The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute individual with good negotiation skills, and hold an MCIPS qualification or working towards an MCIPS qualification within the next two years.
Key Experiences:
- Ideal applicants would be able to demonstrate knowledge of procurement practices including process, procedure, monitor, review and improvement to satisfy contract specific requirements.
- Experience working within a multi-functional alliance team would be advantageous.
- Proven track record in plant procurement from setting up enquiries to evaluation and order placement is ideal.
- Industry knowledge would advantageous while and a further understanding of Sellafield processes would be ideal.
About Nuclear
Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.
Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA)
The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.

Primary Build Capability (PBC)
Morgan Sindall is working with BAE Systems on their £300 million eight-year redevelopment programme, which will transform the submarine building capabilities of the BAE site in Barrow-in-Furness.
