Role: Service Engineer (Multi Skilled Carpenter)

Salary: £26,000 depending on experience

Location: Poole

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

About The Role

We are actively growing our organisation and are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Multi Skilled Engineer with a wide range of skills to deliver a first class repairs service across a variety of our properties must be qualified in Carpentry but also able to undertake other tasks. 

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA all training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

 

About You

You will be a fully skilled tradesperson with a background in carpentry and must be proficient in secondary trades such as tiling, painting & decorating, plastering, floor laying, basic plumbing skills are also desirable and be able to carry out repairs to the highest standards.

You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in both occupied and void properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.

You will be required to carry out the full range of general maintenance and refurbishment work to occupied and vacant properties whilst ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times.

You must hold a valid UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only). 

As a minimum you should have an excellent working H&S knowledge and in date training certs in: Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling.

Candidate must hold relevant trade City and Guilds qualifications.
