Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Building Services Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hard working team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

As a building services manager you will:

  • Manage the various mechanical and electrical (M&E) related subcontractors through their contractor design portion (COP),
  • Design development,
  • Site installation and commissioning,
  • Ensure all works are fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract programme.

Already experienced as a building services manager you will be qualified in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines.  You will have a full understanding of detailed M&E procedures and will have a good level of technical and professional expertise.  You will have the ability to produce M&E design, installation and commissioning programmes and you will have a good level of understanding of Breeam.

 

About the Slough Team :

The Slough office is a newly formed division created to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council, by creating a new Thames Valley, Surrey, and West London business unit. The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to almost 50 people, and is focused on early stage project management to create efficient solutions for customers. see http://www.slough-thinkingforward.co.uk/ for more information.
