Role: Gas Quality Control Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

 

Based: Mobile between Midlands, Cambridge and East Anglia

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs. 

 

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Quality Control Engineer to join our business working on a contract based around Midlands, Cambridge and East Anglia, you will be required to travel between areas in a company van.

You will carry out engineer, site and operational inspections and provide advice to the project operational staff on compliance of all relevant Gas Legislation and ensure that engineers comply with relevant policy, legislation current procedures within the business.

You will prepare reports for project management and assist in production of project particular documentation.

About You

Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in carrying out inspections of gas engineers and post inspection then also able to create reports. You will be able to provide technical knowledge and assistance to the project on gas related matters.

You must hold a valid UK driving licence.

You must be gas qualified and have a minimum of 5yrs experience of auditing gas work.

Must have the following qualifications:-

CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, MET1, CKR1, CPA1

 

Ideally you will have Asbestos awareness, working at height and manual handling experience.
