Lovell Scotland are looking to recruit a Technical Manager to join the team based in Glasgow.

The Scottish business is in a growth phase with plans to enhance stability with the inclusion of private development sites into our portfolio to compliment the already well established Lovell revenue streams of contracting and partnership developments.

The position of Technical Manager is a newly created role, with key responsibility being the day to day management of the technical team which comprises both architectural and engineering functions. This new role is a crucial part of the business change plan and you will have the opportunity to shape the technical information hub of the business, providing support to every team within the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, results driven individual looking for their next challenge.

The ideal candidate will be HNC qualified within an engineering or architectural discipline and have a strong well rounded background in taking ownership of, and driving projects forward. AUTOCAD and excellent IT skills are essential.

Being part of a multi-disciplinary team, you should have excellent communication skills and continually ensure that your colleagues are kept up to date on any design/specification changes. Your ability to express technical information in a clear and concise manner is also paramount.

You must be reliable and flexible and able to act on your own initiative and should be self-motivated and pro-active in your approach to your work. You must have demonstrable planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
