Morgan Sindall Property Services is the service division of the £2 billion Morgan Sindall Group. We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

The purpose of the role is to manage the day to day financial, cost control and reporting of a PFI project with one or more planned/reactive projects from their current programmed position up to and including completion of client and sub contract final accounts, recovery/discharge of all retentions and completion of archive material.

You will be responsible for the effective commercial control of all allocated projects including provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the Surveying timetable, in particular PPRs/CVR’s, all elemental reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, etc. You will also take the lead to establish appropriate targets/rates and re-measurement/evaluation of subcontractor/labour only/direct labour outputs.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in a strategic commercial role, particularly within the property services or similar related industry. Ideally, you will have experience of demonstrating an effective cash management on planned projects.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all members of the project team. You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with the client, employer’s representative and supply chain.

You may have experience of the following: Cost planning, Commercial management, Contract administration, Property Services, Facility Management, Construction, Building Management Systems, Procurement, Risk Management, Asset Capitalisation.

Qualifications Preferable: HND / Degree

Hours of work are: 37½ per week: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30am Friday.
