Role:  Site Supervisor

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Based: Barnet

Morgan Sindall Property Services is the newly created service division of the £2 billion Morgan Sindall Group.  We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs. 

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to work within our Planned works team in Barnet. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will require the successful candidate to provide operational support to the site delivery team(s).

The role includes on site supervision of works such as internal & external refurbishment of flats, houses, low rise blocks and high rise blocks and includes a variety of work types that include fire safety upgrades, estate / block improvement works, roof renewals & door replacement (communal and individual property doors).
You will contribute to the delivery of excellent operational performance, and the role will require you to be the first line day to day project/ workstream implementation lead in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
Your contribution will sustain our reputation for innovative and excellent customer service, giving us a unique selling point in our sector.
Specifically you will:
o Deliver a consistent, right first time service
o Add value to all that you do whilst delivering exceptional customer service
o Actively support and contribute to your team in a positive manner
o Support the monitoring and management of site progress, quality & safety
o Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and partnerships with clients


About You

Candidates must have proven experience in the planned works industry, ideally within the social housing sector; A knowledge of construction and maintenance techniques is required alongside a good awareness of health and safety regulations. you will have an awareness of all aspects of contract operations including KPI’s & financial reports. Candidates will also have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships.

The successful person will have excellent time management, good IT skills with a range of IT packages, will be proactive and flexible with good planning, organisational and influencing skills. You will be aware of the importance of maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails throughout the project, delivering effective interaction to all clients. You will have experience of working with directly employed trade persons and subcontracted labour.

A full UK driving licence, as a company van will be provided (work use only).
