Role:  Assistant Project Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Based: Barnet

Morgan Sindall Property Services is the newly created service division of the £2 billion Morgan Sindall Group.  We work with a wide variety of public and private sector clients and specialise in the full range of facility management and responsive repair and maintenance activity. Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs. 

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team working on our contract in Barnet. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will require you to manage site teams across multiple projects & locations ensuring the successful delivery of works on budget, on time in a safe manner and fully in accordance with company policy and procedures. This busy, varied role is all about managing Morgan Sindall planned works sites, Morgan Sindall site teams, approved contractors. You will ensure that planned works projects are mobilised, programmed, delivered & completed on time and within budget whilst minimizing disruption to residents and the public. You will work closely with our Project Manager and site teams to ensure delivery, prepare work programmes, weekly reporting, hold regular meetings with supply chain and client, and providing high quality technical expertise. Other key priorities will include supporting, managing and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

About You

Candidates must have proven experience in the planned works industry, ideally within the social housing sector; managing the development and performance of all aspects of contract operations including KPI’s & financial reports. Candidates will also have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships and managing multi-site workforces.
You will have experience of managing multiple sites and site teams as well as hands on site manager skills.

The successful person will have excellent time management, good IT skills with a range of IT packages, will be proactive and flexible with good planning, organisational and influencing skills. You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails throughout the project, delivering effective interaction to all clients.
