We have a fantastic opportunity within our NuclearEnergyWater business for an experienced, highly capable learning and development professional to help shape and deliver the future for our business unit. This role will provide integral support in the formation and implementation of the learning and development program.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner this role will work with the Business Unit and wider training teams and local HR Advisors.

The successful candidate will be joining our existing HR and Training team partnering the business in delivering its ambitions for the future.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the projects at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.


Working with the SHRBP and Training Manager to design and deliver the Learning & Development elements of the people strategy for the Business Unit.


Support the SHRBP with the talent management and succession agenda through the promotion of existing tools or where required design and delivery of bespoke solutions linked to identified talent development needs.


Promote the use within the Business Unit to the Morgan Sindall Academy platform.


Develop and deliver core behavioural development programmes.


Provide support and challenge to line managers to foster a learning culture across the business and to support them with the development of their teams.


Drive the learning needs analysis process and career development conversations through the promotion of existing tools and actively seeking and developing new opportunities.

Working with the central team review and manage the graduate programme.

Support the central roll out of the Learning Management System and lead on the development and management of new e-learning modules specific to Business Unit objectives. 


Support in the design of functional bespoke learning initiatives required to underpin functional business activity. In some cases, this will also involve delivery.

We help our customers make the most of their existing assets, as well as building new assets to continually improve the UK’s energy and water infrastructure.
