Description

We require a Development Coordinator with experience of the affordable housing industry to support our existing team in Birmingham office. The role encompasses the following responsibilities:-

• Requesting consultant fee proposals and obtaining signed appointments and collateral warranties

• Manage and co-ordinate external design consultants

• Check designs for compliance with all related regulatory criteria

• Securing Building Regulation approval, discharge of planning conditions, etc.

• Obtain technical approvals for all Highway and Drainage works and conclude all associated legal agreements

• Obtain and co-ordinate statutory services proposals for new supplies and diversionary works

• Maintain and distribute current design information

• Commission and manage production of specialist reports and surveys • Attend client meetings

• Support Senior members of the Technical Team

• Liaise with the internal Design team as required

Experience within the housing industry sector, sheltered accommodation and care facilities and able to liaise with Statutory authority bodies, external Clients and Consultants is required
