Opportunity: 

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Major Projects business for an ambitious and talented Project Controls Assistant within the Fusion HS2 Joint Venture. 

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals working together on this innovative project. 

We are looking for a Project Controls Assistant who may have previous experience within a Planning or Operations role within large Infrastructure schemes. The Project Controls Assistant will provide planning support to both the pre-contract and delivery teams in accordance with Company policy, procedures and quality standards. 

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment. 

Responsibilities: 

As a Project Controls Assistant you will:

  • Ensure all project data is represented accurately
  • Meet all reporting deadlines for both internal and external reporting
  • Lead the review of suppliers reporting
  • Assist project managers in designing report templates for new work packages
  • Liaise with team members to collate data and gain a better understanding of presented information
  • Design and manage process flow for reports production and review
  • Adhere to the Project Quality Plan and Integrate Management System (IMS)

 

Previous experience working in an NEC3 contract ideally on a large infrastructure project is required, as is excellent understanding of Earned Value Analysis. Educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent in a core business discipline, the right applicant will want to move into a career in Planning. Some site experience within Construction & Infrastructure schemes would be advantageous.
