Opportunity: 

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Highways business for an ambitious and talented Assistant Consents Manager within the Fusion HS2 Joint Venture. 

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals working together on this innovative project. 

We are looking for an Assistant Consents Manager to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, consent granting bodies, HS2, consultants and the wider supply chain. 

The role will cover providing support to the Works Package Managers to identify and coordinate consents requirements for their packages. 

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment. 

Responsibilities: 

As an Assistant Consents Manager you will:

  • Represent Fusion at consents meetings with stakeholders, HS2 and the Supply Chain
  • Management of external suppliers to deliver specific deliverables for the scope of works
  • Provide support to the Consents / U&A Team Managers
  • Manage and maintain the EWC Central Consents Register – coordinating and managing all required traffic and highway town planning and environmental consents
  • Monitor and track consents approval process, ensuring necessary consents are obtained in line with the programme to support the delivery of works
  • Ensure all works undertaken in compliance with HS2 Act Commitments and other relevant legislation
  • Carry out site inspections and audit regime on Consents requirements

 

The right applicant will be educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline. Previous experience of the planning and construction of major infrastructure projects would be advantageous, including; Rail, Construction, Highway, Town Planning, Environmental
