Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Highways business for an ambitious and talented Training Manager (Skills) within the Fusion HS2 Joint Venture.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals working together on this innovative project.
We are looking for a Training Manager (Skills) who has responsibility to discharge the role duties as laid out in WI2600 and will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing development and maintenance of the Fusion SEE Plan and will act as the operational point of contact between Fusion and the HS2 Skills and Employment Strategy Manager on all matters concerning the SEE Plan.

Responsibilities:
As a Training Manager (Skills) you will:
- Providing the necessary expertise to support the relevant and purposeful development of the National College for High Speed Rail
- The integration of SEE outputs into Works Package delivery
- Provision of a coordinated approach to the successful delivery of SEE outputs ensuring Fusion functional leads and Works Package teams are engaged in the process
- The management of subcontractor compliance with HS2 SEE objectives
- Ensuring that the relevant data is captured from Fusion functional delivery activities to enable high performing and accurate reporting to HS2, as required
- The coordination of skills requirement forecasting to develop Fusions strategic workforce plan
- The management of apprentices, work placements and work experience
Previous experience working in a similar position would be advantageous.
